It absolutely poured, so everyone cozied and snuggled up under a big white tent ... it was very festive and lively ... kind of like, if you've ever been camping, and it ends up raining, so you stay in the camper the whole trip and play cards and drink hot cocoa ... everyone has to squish in together and wait for the rain to stop? And then they had this gorgeously rich reception with fancy food and luscious flowers and all the guests dressed to the nines. So fantastic. I loved the whole entire day. The ceremony was held at the private home of a relative, lakeside.
